River Section - Temporary Closure

The river section from the Town Bridge to the Falls will be closed to fishing if the level on the gauge at the OPW site (Link on our Website) at Ballisodare drops to 0.35. Any height above this level will ensure fishing will be open in this small section of the river.

This closure won’t apply to fishing upstream of the Town Bridge or to fishing at the Falls.
