Update (30th July): Fishery Reopen

We are pleased to announce that Ballisodare Fishery will reopen at 7:00 am tomorrow (31st June) following an improvement in river conditions.

Overnight rainfall has helped reduce water temperatures and increase water levels, creating more favourable conditions for angling. Our continuous electronic sonde water-quality monitoring also continues to show healthy dissolved oxygen levels throughout the river.

We would like to thank all anglers for their patience, understanding, and support during the temporary closure. Protecting the welfare of our salmon remains our highest priority, and we appreciate everyone's cooperation while conditions were unsuitable for fishing.

We look forward to welcoming anglers back to the river and wish everyone a safe and enjoyable day's fishing.
